Wonton Pizzas

In Dinner, Lunch, Snack.

After my Wonton Tacos blog, I still have a ton of wonton wrappers to use

Here is a versatile recipe that you can use to fit your meal plan. This is easy to make and can be a great snack to have while you watch football

This can fit a Carb/Protein meal as well as Carb/Protein/Fat meal and if you have fruit too

Ingredients:

·       Wonton wrappers

·       Cheese

·       Turkey pepperoni, such as Applegate minis

·       Optional diced bell pepper

·       Optional seasonings; i.e. garlic powder/salt, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper or Pizza seasoning

Directions:

1.       Preheat oven to 350°; foil line an oven proof pan and lightly coat with nonstick spray

2.       Lay your wonton wrapper on prepared pan; lightly coat the wrappers with nonstick spray

3.       Top wonton wrappers with cheese, turkey pepperoni, bell pepper, a little more cheese and seasoning

4.       Bake 8-10 min; serve with a little bit of pizza sauce (I use Contadina)

There are more versions you can make such as:

·       chicken, red onion and pineapple served with WF BBQ sauce

·       top with sliced black olives

·       ground beef or turkey with Mexican seasonings, shredded lettuce and taco sauce

·       even just a vegetable version and fat free cheese
